CNA are playing very important role not only in the medical field but also in the society by caring elderly citizens and serving humanity. CNAs are more focused on the patient care. While visiting some elderly people they help them by cleaning, bathing and feeding. They are also trained to check the vital signs that include checking the respiratory rate, blood pressure, checking the body temperature, and also the pulse rate. In past we have lost many lives just because of the negligence in medical care and not providing the proper treatments. CNA certification has opened new future doors to many people and they are working in different hospitals. Some are also visiting patients to their homes. The newly nursing certified assistant earns $10 to $16 per hour. This profession has great benefits of regular pay raises, promotions and a great progressive career. There are many recognized schools and colleges giving training to students nationwide. If you are working already somewhere and still want to take classes for Certified Nursing Assistant then you can take the classes online. This is more flexible than the standard education schedule.

If you are not able to pay fee and looking for a free training then in this case, you can join nursing homes, where you will be provided full training you are required to spend 100-200 hours. Once you finish the training you will be hired by the nursing school to work there as agreed on the contract.

The standard CNA training has 11 modules. The duration of the training is different in different states according to the state rules and regulations. Once you finish the training then you will be appearing in the exam and if you pass, you will be rewarded by the certificate. So you can start working as certified nursing assistant. You will be working either in hospitals or with patients in their homes. You may also check the patient's blood pressure, pulse rate and body temperature and help them taking medicines, cheering them up and in some cases give a hope that they will be alright very soon. In some cases, CNAs are also required to help senior registered nurses with their daily routine work. Working with registered nurses, you will witness that many of them had started their career as Certified Nursing Assistant.
